My names Alex, I began dj'ing in 2002 and co-presented a show on NSB Radio for 3 years under the Deckwrecker's guise.  I promoted several nights in the South and on the South Coast, holding down 2 local residencies and in May 2007 won dj competition "Battle of the Dj's" hosted by the Funky End Bar in Aldershot. 

On the back of this success the101connection was formed, where I had 3 successful years dj'ing with a good friend of mine as a dj duo.  Breakbeat always had a huge influence in the style of sets we played, but as time has moved on elements of hip hop, funk, and nu-disco regularly found there way into our sets.  Having the versatility to play the right sounding set at the right time of the night in a particular venue became very much our style.

Highlights have included appearances at Ministry of Sound, Guilfest Festival, Slinky and The Double X Festival in Slovakia, playing alongside dj's such as The Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, Atomic Hooligan and Dopamine to name but a few. 

Heading into 2011 I'm now flying solo, but already have some exciting bookings on the horizon for the coming year.
